All downloads on this site are in zip form, please save these files to a location on your hard drive (usually desktop). Most computers come with a preinstalled program to handle zip files. Please, right click on the zip file and then click extract all, this will extract the file. If for some reason your computer did not come with a zip file program you will need to install one. Below is a list of zip file programs, you could find more by doing a google search.

Houses
After you have unzipped the file(s) double click on the package file and a window box will pop up asking you: Do you want to install the following content? Click the install button. This will install everything in the package file.
Objects-Walls-Floors
After you have unzipped the file(s) you will need to manually
place the unzipped file(s) in your downloads folder. You can find your downloads folder
here:
My Documents >> EA GAMES >> SIMS 2 >> Downloads
Clothes
After you have unzipped the file(s) you will need to manually place the unzipped file(s) in your downloads folder or your SavedSims folder. You can find your downloads folder here:
My Documents >> EA GAMES >> SIMS 2 >> Downloads
You can find your SavedSims folder here:
My Documents >> EA GAMES >> SIMS 2 >> SavedSims
Please do not place clothing in sub folder within the Download or SavedSims folder or they will not show up in the game.
Game Requirements
If you see one or more of these icons next to a download item then you will need that stuff pack or expansion pack in order to use the item in game. All homecrafter items (walls, floors and terrains) only require the base game.

All recolored objects have been created using SimPe. I have tested all recolors in my own game prior to making available for download. You should be aware that recoloring with SimPe is still in testing stages and that you download/use these objects at your own risk. For recolored objects to work you need Colour Options Enabler.
