You should be aware that recoloring with SimPe is still in testing stages and that you download/use these objects at your own risk. For recolored objects to work you need Colour Options Enabler. Houses and Community Lots
My houses and community lots are very personal to me, I spend untold hours creating and a lot of research goes into each one , please do NOT upload my lots to any website for any reason. If you wish to use one of my houses or community lots in a story or movie, you are free to do so and credit is not required.
Clothing
You my include our clothes in your packaged Sims for upload to any Sims 2 website, please provide a direct link back to http://www.cc4sims.com . Please do not offer our clothes for individual download, they should only be used in a packaged sim.
Walls, Floors & Terrains

CC4Sim's Textures
You may use any of my textures from my walls, floors and recolors for new, original creations and no credit is required. If you simply recolor one of my walls, floors or recolors by "taking a spin on the color wheel" in your paint program, please provide a clickable link back to my site: http://www.cc4sims.com .
Meshes
Meshes may be included with your recolors or houses as long as you provide credit by a direct link back to http://www.cc4sims.com . Please do not offer my meshes for individual download, they should only be used in a lot that you have built or included with a recolor .

How To Install Custom Content

Zip Files

All downloads on this site are in zip form, please save these files to a location on your hard drive (usually desktop). Most computers come with a preinstalled program to handle zip files. Please, right click on the zip file and then click extract all, this will extract the file.  If for some reason your computer did not come with a zip file program you will need to install one.  Below is a list of zip file programs, you could find more by doing a google search.

Houses

After you have unzipped the file(s) double click on the package file and a window box will pop up asking you: Do you want to install the following content? Click the install button. This will install everything in the package file.

Objects-Walls-Floors

After you have unzipped the file(s) you will need to manually place the unzipped file(s) in your downloads folder. You can find your downloads folder here:

Clothes
After you have unzipped the file(s) you will need to manually place the unzipped file(s) in your downloads folder or your SavedSims folder. You can find your downloads folder here:

Please do not place clothing in sub folder within the Download or SavedSims folder or they will not show up in the game.

A short list of FAQ I receive on a regular basis.
How to place objects on an angle:
First and foremost you must have the University EP for this to work. You will need to pull up the cheat box by pressing shift+ctrl+c all at the same time. Once the box shows up type: boolprop allow45degreeangleofrotation true Please type this exactly as you see it here or it will not work. After you have typed the cheat in press the enter key on your keyboard. Now that the cheat is activated, you may choose a piece of furniture etc. that you would like to have on an angle. Go into build or buy mode and use the hand to grab hold of the item and use the < or > keys on your keyboard to rotate the item.
How do I place kitchen cabinets on angle?
This is good for when the corner of your room is at an angle. 1. You will need to pull up the cheat box and type in moveobjects on Press enter 2. Pull up the cheat box again and type in: boolprop allow45degreeangleofrotation true (note: You must have University for this cheat to work.) Press enter 3. Place all the cabinets you want around the sides of the room, leaving the corners empty. 4. Pull up the cheat box and type in: boolprop snapobjectstogrid false. Press enter 5. Choose the type of cabinet you would like and using the < > keys rotate it to get it on the angle you want. If you have typed all the cheats in as stated above, you should now be able to move the cabinet in the corner exactly where you want it. I sometimes use more than one cabinet to fill a corner to get the look I want. To turn off the cheats above, type in the opposite by changing the true to false, the false to true or the on to off.
How can I build houses like you, where did you learn?
I learned through reading tutorials and plenty of them. I used tutorials from this site (referring to the main sims 2 site) and MOD The Sims 2. You can look in my bookmarked stories and you will see that most of them are tutorials on how to create things for the sims 2. Go over to Mod The Sims 2 and they have endless tutorials on how to create EVERYTHING that has to do with the game. I also want to say I spend hours on a house over the course of usually a week or sometimes even months. I never hurry to finish a project; patience is the key.

What paint program do you use to make walls, floors and recolors?
I use The Gimp and it is free.
How do I make seamless walls and floors?
I hope to have (DV) a simple tutorial on how to do this in the future using a free program, The Gimp.
